الوصف الوظيفي
Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. ACF is looking for its program in Jordan for Community mobilization & Awareness Raising Team leaderWork place: IRBID – JordanMonthly Basic Salary Range: 814 JODA. Specific Objectives:Provide support for the definition and follow-up of the Assessment, hygiene and water management base’s projects.
Ensure that the objectives of project supervision and animation of the hygiene promotion and community mobilizer’s teams are met in the absence of the WASH Deputy Programme manager.B. Main ObjectivesObjective 1 : Organize and follow data collection and processing :
Activities :
- Planning for door to door activities , group session and data collection;
- Determining training needs for the staff ;
- Ensure harmonization and updating of data entry and analysis and activity indicators ;
- Assess continuously the projects’ follow-up methods and propose improvements ;
- Participate in the analysis and drafting of the activity and evaluation reports of the staff.
- Carry out project monitoring;
- Check the advancement of activities and the impact of the sensitising sessions ;
- Write a synthesis of the activity reports ;
- Propose possible improvements.Objective 2 : Supervise and Manage the project’s team
Activities:
- Supervise and train the team members;
- Ensure technical support to the team members in the implementation of the activities
- Participate in the recruitment process
- Develop training topics;
- Organize the work of the team to optimize the capacity of each team member;
- Perform performance evaluation and appraisal of the team.
- Report training needs to the manager;
- Assist in the implementation of training sessions on the base ;
- Explain and ensure application of the hygiene and water management methodologies.
-Objective 3 : Develop strategies to promote hygiene and implement programs activities:
- Plan activities according to the expected progress of the project;
- Evaluate HR and logistic needs and report them to manager and
- Identify and inform the manager of any problems or constraints;
- Follow the project’s progress and write activity reports to the Manager ;
- Propose solutions or improvements to ensure the smooth running of the project.
- Participate in the elaboration of courses adapted to the promotion of hygiene with the Head of Project ;
- Elaborate teaching tools adapted to various levels of the population: songs, role games, meetings, training, etc.
- Apply the methodologies defined for the sensitising sessionson hygiene promotion ;
- Elaborate a schedule of awareness raising activities ;
- Provide training sessions to team and/or to targeted populations ;
Objective 4 : Represent the organization with the partners when delegated by the manager :
Activities :
- Present the project to the various local partners ;
- Liaise with the authorities;
- In case of manager absence, participate in inter-NGO social mobilization camp meetings.Objective 5 : Ensure adherence to Action against Hunger gender Commit and comply with the organization
- Commit and comply with the organization gender, age and diversity principles & policies (working with people, communication)
- Support on the implementation and the promotion of gender, age and diversity principles through daily activities and or through the management of their teams (Managing performance & development)
