IT ArchitectJob description
1.1. Job purpose
Responsible for creating and planning an overview of our assets, IT processes business development strategies and other internal functions to establish and implement changes that will increase our sustainability and prepare us for future expansion. Also preparing one or more architectural models for each aspect to establish baselines and benchmarks.
1.2. Responsibility
Plan and design methods in which improve the functionality of IT department’s units so they support the company future goals
Create business architecture models that reflect our strategies and goals
Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth
Design business architecture and systems processing guidance
Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan
1.3. The job entails exposure to
Plan and design methods in which improve the functionality of IT department’s units so they support the company future goals
Recommends and participates in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture
Researches overall ICT solutions on the market for particular technical requirements and business needs
Monitor IT department KPI’ and report the progress
Create business architecture models that reflect our strategies and goals
Recommends and participates in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems.
Identifies and recommends areas appropriate for further study and participates in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption
Maintain alignment with architecture guidelines from the Group
Prepare reports and presentations as required for the management or other stakeholders
Design business architecture and systems processing guidance
Collaborates with all relevant parties in order to review the objectives and constraints of each solution
Recommends the most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a high level
Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan
Align with other departments plans & initiatives
Create presentations and awareness sessions to IT team and other departments if needed
2.1. Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and any related IT fields; A Master’s degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
Supervisor: a Minimum of 5 to 8 years
Manager: a minimum of 8 years

- Business analysis

- IT Costing and Budgeting
- Enterprise Application Integration systems
- IT/Technology Infrastructure Design and Planning
- IT Security Management
- Telecom OSS/BSS
- DevOps
Skills In:
- IT Strategy and Planning: Operations strategy and planning, Business Continuity and Contingency Planning, Applications strategy and planning, Security policies and procedures, New technologies assessment
- Analysis Techniques: Requirements analysis and design, Problem solving and requirements collection
- Enterprise Architecture: enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation
