يعلن  الإتحاد اللوثري الخيري في عمان والزعتري عن حاجتها الى :


1-  Project Assistant - Zaatari

Scope of Work:
The Project Assistant will supervise the activities of the Syrian facilitators, trainers and mobilizers in conducting the psychosocial and life skills classes in Zaatari Camp under the supervision of the Zaatari Manager or in that positions absence the Program Manager. The Project Assistant will also attend relevant working groups, oversee activities and coordinate with partners in the absence of the Zaatari Manager.

Strategy and Planning:

  • Monitor risks, constraints or escalating issues, and inform management accordingly.

Project Cycle Management:

  • Serve as a link between LWF and Syrian long term Cash for Work beneficiaries (Facilitators, trainers and mobilizers). Supervising their activities to ensure program activities are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • Document feedback from Syrian facilitators and trainers, Syrian participants in programming to ensure learning are documented and feed back into programming.
  • Ensure pre and post testing of all activities (psychosocial, education, livelihoods and capacity building) and collect monthly beneficiary numbers to Zaatari Manager
  • Build capacity of the Syrian team, through regular mentoring, coaching.
  • Assist in conducting training programs to support the activities of the Syrian team under guidance of Protection coordinator/ Manager.
  • Plan and conduct outreach programs to inform about key events and coordinate the assessment of new beneficiaries
  • Conduct interviews with Cash for Work applicants in coordination with HR in Amman
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of classes and activities.
  • Support regular data collection, conduct analysis of data and prepare reports to management.
  • Work closely with the Zaatari Manager to establish and maintain a communication link with key camp working groups and stakeholders (SRAD, UNHCR etc.)
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Program Coordination & Networking:

  • Coordinate with working groups to participate in relevant camp coordination meetings and to ensure media and donor access to beneficiaries.
  • Assist in translation (Arabic to English, English to Arabic) for donors and Zaatari Manager, as needed.
  • Assist in preparation and collection of permissions from SRAD for LWF vehicles and individuals
  • Liaison with the Syrian volunteer team and the Zaatari Manager to create reports and conduct activities


Support:

  • Identify supply needs and assist field Coordinator in writing PR’s


Other:

  • Carry out any other duties as requested by the Project Officer and filed Coordinator.


 Requirements:

Essential:

  • Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy or Education or any relevant specialty.
  • One-year relevant work experience with INGO.
  • Fluent in Arabic and advanced in English
  • Experience with SPHERE, INEE and Core humanitarian Standards.
  • Proven computer literacy, including good knowledge of MS Office.

Skills:

  • Facilitation skills.
  • Experience of and commitment to participatory approaches to aid and development
  • Commitment to the ideals of LWF including Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, Accountability Framework and LWF Gender Justice Policy.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage own time.

2-  Senior Government Liaison and Accountability Officer

Scope of Work:

The Government liaison and Accountability senior officer will ensure that LWF Jordan develops and maintains good relationship with key governments, and other stakeholders. The PLSO will liaise between LWF management staff and government officials and coordinate their communication and meetings by serving as an official go-between for the LWF management staff and senior officials at relevant government offices. The GLASO will support the country director and the program manager in building rapports with important government stakeholders to gain recognition and support from relevant offices and departments for LWF activities in the country. This role has a particular focus on LWF’s external communications and events involving Government, and other stakeholders, and on monitoring and reporting internally.

Specific Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Networking

  • Support the Country Director in identifying and building good relationship with key government partners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the program and operations in identifying, negotiating and meeting the requirements of relevant government offices to obtain official supporting documents for LWF activities
  • Be the first point of contact for communication and negotiation with ministry offices, professionally liaising with ministry departments and offices to request support and approval on LWFs project activities
  • Monitor changes in legal and specific government office requirements relevant to LWFs program operation and international workforce employment. Brief the country director and operation staff any changes in ministry and department regulations and requirements. Support the team in preparing to those new requirements. 
  • Arrange meetings with government officials for the country director following proper local protocols. 
  • Provide timely and high quality translation and interpretation services for LWF Jordan.
  • Ensure Government procedures (MoUs, Approvals, contracts etc) are managed with a focus on quality, accuracy and timeliness, main responsibility for Amman operations and support field offices in reviewing these documents.
  • Keep track record of all communication with governmental bodies and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper messaging to related agencies and donors reflects the strategy of the country program.
  • Attend Government Liaison Working Group meetings.
  • Develop high quality official documents for LWF use with government stakeholders and relevant UN agencies.

Program Monitoring

 

Coordinate with relevant project managers to organize visits for donors and related agencies.

  • Ensure that appropriate M&E plans are built into work plans and reporting structures, and oversee data quality and reporting.
  • Contribute to the production of timely and accurate technical and monitoring and evaluation reports
  • Conduct periodic monitoring visits to projects;
  • Support and train all country level staff on M&E systems and tools;
  • Maintain country database and documentation related to monitoring and evaluating processes;
  • Conduct or support baseline assessment studies and data collection where necessary for projects start-up;
  • Supports collection of assessment information;
  • Participate in different assessments;
  • Develop reports, presentations and other information and facilitate communication;

Strategy and Planning

  • Assist the country office in strategic planning processes in accordance with LWFs approach.
  • Assist the country office in communicating LWFs mission, purpose, strategic goals and programme objectives amongst government ministries and partners as needed to create mutual understanding and ownership.

 

Logistics Support

  • Organize exposure visits for relevant government officials, related agencies and ACT members.  

 

Financial Management & Accounting

  • Ensure compliance with donor accounting and reporting requirements as required.

 

Good Practice, Institutional Learning and Information Management

  • Ensure results and lessons from LWF Jordan’s work are captured for communication and organizational learning
  • Ensure LWF Jordan publicity, publications and events are of high quality and reflect LWF’s organizational values and priorities
  • Develop specific process guidelines as requested by the Country Director and Program Manager.


Requirements

Essential
  • Degree and/or equivalent qualification
  • 2 years of relevant experience in INGO

  • Ability to develop capacity building frameworks and work plans
  • Commitment to, and good knowledge of, creating efficient, independent partner organizations, through effective capacity building and learning and development activities.
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic
  •  Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to LWF policies of promoting gender equity and diversity and the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of LWF.
  • Experience working in emergency situations.
  • May need to work after hours or at weekends.
