Method Validation Supervisor


Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Supervising the new analytical method development and validation.
2. Making sure of preparing the relevant change control documents.
3. Issuing any standard operating procedure related to analytical activities.
4. Troubleshooting during operations in the analysis section and co-ordination with the department Analysis senior supervisor for remedies.
5. Making sure of that all analysts in analysis section are adhering to their   job description in a manner consistent with cGMP and GLP regulations.

Requirments:
BA Degree in chemistry
Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages

JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Assistant/ Driver main responsibilities are and to handle and some logistics activities of office related operation issues by the instruction of the Administration Office or Project Manager and to drive CARE vehicles; to ensure maintenance of the vehicles; The Position holder also handle minor maintenance of the vehicle until it reached to professional Mechanic.  
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Job Responsibility #1 Drive CARE vehicles safely for errands in town and for official trips
  • Always drive CARE vehicles carefully ensuring the security of passengers in observance of CARE policies and procedures, abiding by all traffic and other relevant laws and never to exceed the speed limit.
  • Ensure that passengers are observing the security on board measures established by CARE especially regarding the wearing of seat belts and helmets where applicable at all times.
  • Ensure proper loading and offloading of good on the vehicles.
  • Carry a valid driving license at all times, and ensure that all paperwork and documentation in connection with the assigned vehicles are always in order.
  • Properly fill the requested document on board including the vehicle logbook and the vehicle maintenance book and produce the requested reports on time.
  • Never endanger passengers or the vehicles through careless driving or poor maintenance.
  • Never drive at night outside towns unless permission has been given by the supervisor.
  •  Follow-up on the assigned vehicle relevant documentation including insurance, roadworthy, international vehicle certificate, international insurance …etc.
  • Assist the Administration officer in controlling the use of the assigned vehicles and the filling by the users of the relevant documentation and inform the Supervisor of any problems.
  • Check the fire extinguisher and other safety equipment in the vehicle and inform the Supervisor of any problems.
  • Responsible for the other drivers and distribution on tasks among them.
  • Ensure all vehicles have a full tank of fuel on Friday at the end of the working day.
  • Ensure the Fuel card / booklet is safely stored in the vehicle.

Job Responsibility # 2: Logistics Responsibilities:
Sub responsibilities: 
  1. Ensure the maintenance of CARE vehicles and follow up on repairs to guaranty their optimum conditions
  • Check all assigned vehicles daily, or more often if necessary, following a pre-established schedule of preventive maintenance.
  • Clean inside and outside the assigned vehicles at least once a week;
  • Participate in the minor repair on the vehicles and do the follow-up and check of vehicles that have been sent for maintenance or repair at the garage to ensure that the completed work is satisfactory and as agreed.
  • Participate in the drawing up of service schedules for all assigned vehicles, complete the necessary paperwork and organize all work to be carried out by outside mechanics or garages.
  • Advise the Administration Officer when major vehicle maintenance is required.
  • Keep a well maintained tracking system on all vehicle costs and services.
15% of Time
  1. Provide operation assistant to the Country Office with the guidance of the Procurement and Logistics Manager
  • Assist the Procurement and Logistics Manager as requested in office-related operational issues such as moving furniture, boxes, receiving deliveries from suppliers, storing supplies, etc.
  • Ensure proper functioning of office utility systems—electricity, water, gas, etc.
  • Assist the Procurement and Logistics Manager with procurement duties.
  • Assist with payment of bills to vendors, cell phone companies, etc.
  • Deliver CARE documents to recipient agencies in a timely and appropriate manner and confirm receipt in the dispatch logbook.
  • Assist and follow up on other Administration related issues as needed.
15% of Time
  1. Emergency Response / Staff Security
  • Take a lead role in facilitating timely, quality administrative support function delivery in the time of emergency response.
  • Guides and supports management on staff security concerns.
  • Promote a safe and secure work environment; foster a safety and security culture; and ensure consistent application of, and compliance with, CARE International safety and security policies and procedures.
5 % of Time

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Education / Training
Required:
  • Completed high school
  • Valid Driving license
      Desired:
  • Technical school diploma
  • Trained professional driver certificates
  • Experience in logistics 
Managerial Know How
This position requires (Task) managerial know-how. 
  1. Experience Required:
  •  Four years of experience as a driver in similar organization
Desired:
  • Experience in handling logistics for other similar organization
  1. Skills Required
  • Working knowledge and experience of vehicle mechanics and how to maintain and repair minor faults on vehicles with petrol or diesel engines.
  • Thorough knowledge of Liberian traffic laws and geography required.
Desired:
  • Hands-on experience in using financial softwares such as PeopleSoft
  1. Human relations skills
